The first edition of the Olincopíadas took place on May 27 and 28, 2023. The first day of competitions was held at the USP Sports Practice Center (Cepeusp) and featured nine sports: athletics (1500m and 100m), archery, swimming (50m and 3x50m relay), tennis, table tennis, volleyball, and soccer. Defying common sense and the most reasonable medical advice, the athletes remained at the sports center for almost ten hours straight. The following day, adverse weather conditions and the absence of a foosball table at Cepeusp forced the second part of the competition and its closing ceremony to be moved to Vila Mariana, which hosted the chess and foosball competitions.
The title of Best Team in 2023 went to VAS com Deuses, which won six gold medals, four silver medals, and three bronze medals. The team also received the Special Gender Equality Award for achieving parity between men and women in all team sports. Second place went to Conradicais, which won four gold medals, four silver medals, and three bronze medals. Finally, in third (and last) place, the Veríssimos Vencedores team won a single gold medal, three silver medals, and three bronze medals. The competition also featured individual highlights, with Pedro Marques Neto as the top medalist, followed by Virgílio Afonso da Silva and Conrado Hübner Mendes (men); and Bianca Villas Bôas, Ana Laura Barbosa and, tied for third place, Camilla Gomes, Marcela Calixto, Maysa Cortez, and Juliana Pontes.
