Ph.D. candidate in Law at the University of São Paulo School of Law. Master’s degree in Law from the University of Brasília. Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. My research interests include the legislative branch and democratic forms of political participation, such as lobbying and the activities of social movements.
DOCTORAL RESEARCH
In my doctoral research, I am focused on developing a theoretical and normative framework for the constitutional right to lobby—that is, the right to influence public decision-making. To this end, I examine the foundations of participatory rights in democratic systems and, at the empirical level, compare regulations governing lobbying practices across various countries.
MASTER’S RESEARCH
For my master’s thesis at the University of Brasília, I examined the conceptions of democracy reflected in the arguments of the Ruralist Bench, based on bills proposed by members of Congress between 2015 and 2023.
