Pedro Scherer Aleixo, who carried out his postdoctoral research in our group (2016-2018), has been appointed professor at the Law School of the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp).
In his postdoctoral research, supervised by Virgílio Afonso da Silva, Pedro studied the admissibility, limits and impact of judge-made law in the Brazilian constitutional system.

The application for both master’s and doctorate degrees at the University of São Paulo Faculty of Law is open between June 18 and June 29, 2018. The research group Constitution, Politics & Institutions wants to attract researchers of national and international origins. Sufyan El Droubi, who did his postdoctoral research in our group (2014-2017), has been appointed reader at the University of Dundee, Scotland.
In his postdoctoral research, supervised by Virgílio Afonso da Silva, Sufyan studied the human rights obligations of corporations and other non-state actors in situations that threaten international peace and security.
